About Greenock Road...
The fourteen-track album "Greenock Road" opens with the acoustic-driven groove of "New Light" leading to the haunting beauty of "Farewell My Love (May Time Be Good To You)".
There are folk-style story songs such as "In The Morning (We Will Fight)" which follows the main characters account from life as a teenage boy in his small home town to the battlefields of France during World War 1, and "Back in 1981" about childhood experiences during the era of The Falklands War.
There is the acoustic pop-tinged "Afterglow", the country-rock feel of "Dead-end Factory" and "This Weary Road", and the atmospheric retro-pop styled "Tonight Is Ours Alone". A touch of romance with male-female duet "Running On Home To You".
